Strategic Action
- High-Level Participation of TNAI in Afreximbank initiatives within the Regions with the launching of the TNAI at the July 2025 meetings in Grenada.
- As an immediate and symbolic first step, TNAI proposes extending formal invitations to a select group of investors, policymakers and professionals of African descent to participate in the upcoming Afreximbank Annual Meeting in Grenada. This forum presents an ideal platform to initiate bilateral and multilateral dialogue with leading African government officials, financial institutions, and private sector actors. It mirrors the success of the recent Afreximbank diaspora engagement held in the Bahamas, which demonstrated the value of convening diaspora and African business leaders in neutral, high-level settings.
- The participation of diaspora stakeholders at this level would be a critical signal of commitment and alignment with AU strategic goals.
Expected Outcomes
- Strengthened public-private partnerships between diaspora and African governments,
- Mobilization of capital into priority sectors aligned with national development plans,
- Advancement of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) through diaspora involvement, and
- Enhanced credibility and visibility of AU Sixth Region programming.
