Advancing Diaspora-Continental Economic Integration through Strategic Collaboration
Submitted under “The New African Initiative”- (TNAI) Framework.
Executive Summary
This proposal outlines a strategic initiative aimed at fostering formal economic collaboration between high-net-worth African Americans and leading business figures from the African continent. Aligned with the African Union’s Sixth Region policy framework, this initiative seeks to promote global African unity through targeted, cross-border investment and partnership—particularly in sectors of high economic leverage, such as natural resource brokerage, equity and debt financing, joint ventures, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, telecommunications, Artificial Intelligence, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, real estate and infrastructure development and air travel.
As Africa rapidly ascends as a global economic frontier, this collaboration offers an opportunity to mobilize diaspora capital, expertise, and networks in service of the continent’s regional development goals, while reinforcing Pan-African unity and institutional engagement.
We the members of TNAI, are seeking opportunities to collaborate with the aforementioned groups in the United State of America, the Caribbean – The 6th Region, The African Union other five regions, AfreximBank and similar organizations to revitalize and bring relevance to the long-overdue concept of the AU 6th Regions.
This initiative is formulated by the Directors of TNAI with the vision to tap into the experience and expertise of Africans and institutions in the diaspora for mutual business development benefits. TNAI is a group of entrepreneurs within the AU regions envisioned the need of this initiative. The TNAI organization is a NGO/not for profit organization whose vision, aims and objectives are outlined herein. TNAI will have two sub groups and functions:
- The intent is to create a business chamber embracing members of a wide cross-section of entrepreneurs and business professionals and economic development institutions with the six Regions. This will be the business arm for the execution of projects within the aforementioned industries, and
- The education and socio-cultural collaboration arm.
